Tommy Williams joins to talk about beginning his stand up career, with some thanks to DJB and Improv Boston's 100 First Jokes V.

Tommy regales us with a tale that can only be referred to as O'Deed's Eleven, when he helped organize and execute the perfect heist... of a movie theater.

DJB recaps his part in Roast Battle Boston and gives some advice on performing comedy, which dovetails nicely into a conversation about the great art of Karaokin'.

Josh declares Rocket Queen is the best GNR song as it's more of a two-act play than just a song.

The guys move on to Axl Rose's and Vince Neil's aging bodies, some hair band sex tapes, music from the 70's and Elvis.

An AFTER PARTY with Andrew W.K.!

 

This episode of the Boston Shit Show was recorded backstage at Cuisine en Locale, in Somerville, MA, with legendary Rocker/Motivational Speaker/Party Animal Andrew W.K.

Josh sits with Andrew in the green room, both of them still dripping with sweat from the concert Andrew had just performed moments earlier. After presenting a gift to him, Josh asks what city Andrew feels parties the hardest, and Andrew replies by saying that it's always a case-by-case situation, and that wherever he performs (to humans), there is high energy and excitement.

 

Josh tells Andrew that he had recently seen Dave Grohl perform from the confines of a wheelchair with the Foo Fighters, and how Andrew has done the same in the past. Andrew tells Josh how important it is to push through physical challenges so as not to let the fans down.

 

 

Josh and Andrew discuss partying 'til you puke, and Andrew's first memory of puking. They dive into how Andrew got into being so motivational to so many people both through song and speech.
